Some months ago I talked about The emperos club, film directed by Michael Hoffman and played by Kevin kline... It described the importance of the honor at schools, in this particular case about the San Benedict's school an elite school responsible for new leaders... It summarized the precocious problems that consumes the school lives and the real meaning of classical studies, Rome and Greek history on it... Afterwards I had searched in internet the book writter, Ethan Canin that had influenced the same tale... The book is not a show book, however it was considered a masterpiece, a bestseller, it hasn't the same values about comparing to the film... The extreme point about both, book and film, perhaps did not touch the viewers, but it is crucial to undestand the society and the democracy. Society because sometimes it s difficult to think that being truefull need to be famous and rich. The second is that living in democracy sometimes we lost the real meaning of it that is to use equal rights and obligations to live in harmony and peace... then we can understand the future of ours societies...
